Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure - UPDATED PHOTO ADDED

In my Spring VoxBox I was sent a Broadway Nails Impress Press-on Manicure. The design on the nails was super cute, like lace. The nail color was a subtle nude pink with a slight pearl to it, covered by the pretty black lace design. If you know me, you know that I'm a product junkie, beauty products are one of my loves and my very first beauty love was nails. I have 125+ nail polishes and have been loving all the nail art and trends these last few years!

Needless to say my curiosity was piqued and I couldn't wait to try these nails out. Haven't messed with fake nails in 10 years probably, I wasn't trying to jump into the world, but I was open to see if I may be wowed. I decided to apply them on a Saturday night and wear them Father's Day, a nice lazy Sunday. I sat down and matched up each nail with the best fitting fake nail. Easy enough. A pro and con is that the design was the same for each pair of each size nail. It was super simple to match up that way, but also makes it a bit less authentic and more obviously manufactured. No one wants to be an adult and have others notice that your nails are fake and cheap, not cost-wise, but quality-wise.

After application I just lounged, took a pic of my new mani and watched SNL then went to bed. When I got up all of the nails were still intact. I got dressed gingerly and any pressure on my nails felt like they would or could pop off at any moment. I didn't like having to altar how I used my hands in order to try to keep the nails on. In fact while I changed my daughter Charlotte I lost the first nail. It was a pinky or ring finger I think. As the day progressed I lost more and more. One while playing at the park - I don't know exactly when, but I wasn't playing, just observing or pushing a swing here and there. Later on, I HAD to do dishes, I lost a few more then and at that point I just pulled the rest off. There were 4 left maybe and I just peeled them off. That was super easy and my nail wasn't damaged at all.
These look pretty good once applied!

Bottom line for me- I have too much to do with my hands to have nails that are so weak and easy to remove. I'm not the best market for this product, but someone who isn't using their hands a lot, this would be perfect for them. Sound like your kind of instant mani gratification then, check out Broadway Nails and Influnster's reviewInfluenster's Review Page for the imPRESS Press-on Manicure. People seem to be having better luck than I did with this product, which is good news.

Then tell me in the comments: what are your thoughts on artificial nails?

Here is my Vine of the super super easy application!

Benefit They're Real! in Lusty Rose

April Birchbox

Psyched!   This Month I chose a curated Birchbox.

Face of the day...

After I did my hair today I decided to go just a bit farther. I started with L'ORÉAL  Hydra Genius to moisturize. I went with Sephora's instant De-Puffer for under my eyes, they were looking a bit tired. I used Benefit's Fake Up hydrating concealer for my trouble spots on my face. Buxom lipgloss, Too Faced eye shadow, NARS eyeshadow primer, Lancôme Khol eyeliner in Black Coffee, Cover Girl Intensify Me liquid eyeliner, and Butter London Iconoclast mascara  for my eyes. Benefit Benetint original on my cheeks, Milk brow pencil, Aveda Caribbean Therapy body cream, and I forgot that I used R+CO thickening Spray in my hair. That's important because I LOVED how it worked today on my hair and because Birchbox sent it to me so I need to review it. I need to use it To review it, right? I hope you Have a good day, I know I sure am!
